Blake Swihart Is In Paw Sox Lineup Sunday, Game Preview
Blake Swihart is making his return to the Paw Sox lineup this afternoon as the Pawtucket Red Sox (59-60) take on the Columbus Clippers (62-58). This is to close out their four game series between the two teams. The Paw Sox won the first two games of the series 3-2 and 8-1. The Columbus Clippers won game 3 of the series 5-4.
Blake Swihart was put on the disabled list on July 5th with left ankle inflammation. Since August 3rd, Swihart has been on a rehab assignment with the Gulf Coast League Red Sox. During Swiharts’ time with the GCL Red Sox, he struggled. In 9 games, he hit .167 in 30 AB’s. Swihart is batting 5th today as the starting DH
