Boston Bruins Snag A Big 4-3 Win Against The Vancouver Canucks On Saturday Afternoon
In the second game of the Bruce Cassidy era the Boston Bruins took on the Vancouver Canucks at TD Garden in Boston on Saturday and pulled out a major 4-3 win.
This win should not be overlooked with the team preparing for a big home matchup with the division leading Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night before heading on the road to the west coast on a brutally tough road trip.
Also getting a start in the game was backup net-minder Anton Khudobin who was called up this past week with Zane McIntyre getting sent down to AHL Providence. It was Doby’s first NHL appearance since an overtime loss back in December against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Goals for the Boston Bruins are as follows:
Vatrano tied his career high with 3 points in the game and received the first star of the game. Pastrnak’s one goal happened to be his 100th career point and was good enough to get the 2nd star of the game.
Stating the importance of the Montreal game and the upcoming west coast road trip cannot be overstressed. This is something that has to be on everyones calendars as the Boston Bruins need to win or pull a point out of the majority of their games going forward.
