Boston Celtics Announce Summer League Roster
The Boston Celtics announced their summer league roster on Thursday.
Also on this year’s summer league squad is the all the second-round draft picks. Semi Ojeleye, Kadeem Allen, and Jabari Bird. Other’s who were added to the Celtics organization this year are Scoochie Smith who signed as a free agent, Trevor Thompson and Landen Lucas, both of whom went undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft.
A couple of 2016 draft picks not named Jaylen Brown will also be on the court for the Boston Celtics. Ante Žižić from Croatia who was drafted in the first round, second-round guard Demetrius Jackson formerly of Notre Dame, and Abdel Nader of Iowa State.

Both Jackson and Nader played in the D-League with the Maine Red Claws last season.
Other players from 2016 include Rosco Allen from Hungary and Perrin Buford from Middle Tennessee who went undrafted in 2016.
The rest of Boston’s roster is made up of players who have moved around and went undrafted.
Terran Petteway will also be on the summer league squad. Petteway went undrafted in 2015 and since then has played in the Atlanta Hawks organization and then last year played in the d-league. Another undrafted player is Scott Wood formerly of North Carolina State.
Wood went undrafted in 2013 and played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2014 Summer League before playing in Spain for two seasons. Wood had been signed by the Golden State Warriors in 2016 but was waived and played in the d-league last season.
The Celtics will start summer league play against the 76ers on July 3 at 7 p.m. in Utah.
The Utah summer league will run from July 3 until the July 6. After Utah, the Celtics will head the Las Vegas for games from July 7-17.
