Boston Celtics Guard Avery Bradley Left Off NBA All-Defensive Team’s
Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley has to be feeling a little disappointed today.
When the NBA announced it’s All-Defensive team’s on Monday it came to a shock for many that Bradley was left off all the lists. It was clear that AB was one of the NBA’s best defensive guards this past season. But only appearing in 55 games might have led to the guard being left off the lists.
Draymond Green, Rudy Golbert, Kawhii Leonard, Chris Paul, and Patrick Beverly were all named to the first team. Tony Allen, Danny Green, Anthony Davis, Andre Roberson, and Giannis Antetokounmpo were in the second team.
Bradley made the NBA defensive first-team in the previous season, but this year he managed 12 first-place votes as part of a 46-point voting total
That point total was the highest of any player to miss both the 1st and 2nd teams. Other Celtics receiving votes for one of the two all-defensive teams included Marcus Smart (five first-place votes, 21 points total); Jae Crowder (five points total) and Isaiah Thomas (one point total).
Isaiah Thomas took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the outcome.
How the hell is Avery Bradley not on the all defensive team?? That's crazy!!

IT was not alone though with players around the NBA in disbelief that Avery Bradley missed out on both of the teams.
Btw Avery Bradley not making at least 1st team All Defense is so crazy to me.. I wanna know who these voters are smh

Dont care what team you put Avery Bradley on but he should be on an All Defensive team. No question about it.

One has to wonder if the voters watch the Boston Celtics play at all. It is a head scratcher that Bradley is left off these lists.
