Paw Sox Rained Out Tuesday Night, Will Be Made Up In Doubleheader On Wednesday
The Paw Sox vs. Syracuse Chiefs game to be held on Tuesday night at 7:05pm has been postponed. The game will be made up on Wednesday as a part of a straight doubleheader beginning at 11:05am. The Paw Sox will have Henry Owens pitch in game 1, and Hector Velasquez pitching in game 2 against the Chiefs. According to the Chiefs web site, they will go with Greg Ross in game 1, and they haven’t announced a starting pitcher for game 2.

This is the 9th postponed game this season for the Paw Sox. They have played four doubleheaders so far this season, and have six more scheduled the rest of the season. Those doubleheaders are scheduled for June 7 vs. Syracuse, June 13 at Syracuse, June 17 vs. Rochester, July 5 at Rochester, July 28 at Indianapolis, and August 15 at Louisville. The double header on August 15 at Louisville is due to a rain out that took place at McCoy Stadium on May 25th.
