Pawtucket Red Sox Release Video Calling Pawtucket Their Home

The Pawtucket Red Sox released a video on social media calling the City of Pawtucket their home.

The Paw Sox have called Pawtucket their home since 1973 with their games being played at McCoy Stadium and their current stadium lease runs until 2021. The team and the local government has been looking for a new ballpark or to potentially renovate their current venue and extend their lease terms.

Potential locations have been studied and just last week a study found the Apex site the best location for a new ballpark in Pawtucket based on return on investment. This video signify’s the Paw Sox ownerships commitment to remain in the City of Pawtucket.
