Pawtucket Red Sox vs Buffalo Bisons Series Preview
The Pawtucket Red Sox are playing the Buffalo Bisons in a three-game set at McCoy Stadium in the final series before the AAA-All-Star game.
Pawtucket enters the series with a 42-43 record which puts them in 4th place in the International League North Standings. Buffalo is right behind them in 5th. With a 37-50 record on the season.
The Bisons are the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.

In Kendrick’s last outing he only went 2 innings giving up 5 earned runs on 5 hits with 4 walks. Kendrick was placed on the 7-day-dl after that start on June 29th and Friday’s start against the Bisons is his first start back from the DL.
Saturday 6:15 p.m., princess and pirates theme night, fireworks postgame
Olmos is 3-1 in his last ten appearances with a 1.34 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched. The 27-year-old is a reliever turned starter this season for Pawtucket filling in for the turnstile PawSox rotation.
He is an All-Star this year for Pawtucket and could warrant a look in Boston at some point this season.

Rodriguez’s start is third rehab appearance with his first not going so well and the second showing improvement. For the Portland Sea Dogs E-Rod went three innings giving up 5 earned runs on 9 base hits allowed.
In his second rehab start, left-handed starter allowed four runs, all earned, four hits and five walks while striking out five in 4 innings for Triple-A Pawtucket at Rochester.
The Red Sox starter threw 69 pitches for Portland, in the second for Pawtucket, he threw 88 pitches. One could assume he will be on a 90 pitch limit for the PawSox on Sunday.
