Red Sox Talk: Clemens In Radio Booth Next Week, Don Orsillo On TV

Red Sox Talk: Roger Clemens Will Be In The WEEI Radio Booth For One Game Next Week, Former NESN Play-by-play Don Orsillo In FOX Booth Covering Boston

Next weekend against the Houston Astros there will be two familiar faces in the media section in Houston for the Boston Red Sox.

One Roger Clemens will be in the WEEI radio broadcast booth for one game against the Astros on June 16th. Clemens pitched for Boston from 1984-to-1996 and he also pitched for the Astros from 2004-2006. Clemens will be accompanying play-by-play broadcast Tim Neverett with the Rocket being the color guy. The legendary Joe Castiglione will lead of the series in game 1 followed by Clemens in game 2.

The other familiar face next weekend is the one of former NESN play-by-play Don Orsillo who is slated to be in the FOX national broadcast booth for the Red Sox vs Astros on June 17th. Orsillo will be alongside with Eric Karros and Tom Verducci.

Orsillo now calls Padres games following his departure from NESN after the 2015 season. It is unclear if there will be any crossovers or photograph opps for the two to meet with their former friends in the Red Sox organization.

One can wonder if NESN color guy Jerry Remy will take a trip to the FOX both to say hi to his longtime friend in Orsillo or vice versa. Either way it is a moment many Red Sox fans would love to see and as always, the two make for some great tv.
