Boston Celtics prepare for NBA All-Star break weekend

The NBA All-star break is approaching and the Boston Celtics play there final game of the first half, in Chicago against the Bulls.

For the first time since 2011 the Celtics coaching staff will be the coaches for the East!

Doc Rivers was of course the last head coach to take the honors he did it twice. This will be Brad Stevens and his crew first time to the mid season game. The Celtics will also be sending Isaiah Thomas to the All-Star game in New Orleans on Sunday too.

This will be the first time the Celtics will send a player since last season when Thomas was also present. This will be the half way point of the season with the Celtics right behind the Cleveland Cavaliers by 2.5 in the standings as the Celtics won 7 out of there last 8 in a hot season by Isaiah Thomas. But this is not the only thing that will be going down in the NBA this upcoming week.

A week from today Thursday February 23rd is the trade deadline where the Danny Ange will view his options for the last time this season of who he can trade. All eyes are on Jae Crowder as rumors surface he could be traded out of Boston.
