Former New England Patriots receiver Michael Floyd has been incarcerated at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for a week now and he has been a role model inmate according to a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

Floyd was arrested and charged with extreme drunkenness after found asleep behind the wheel of his car by Scottsdale police in Arizona back in mid December, and Floyd was sentenced to 120 days in Maricopa County but will only serve 24 in jail.

He will then be on house arrest were in will spend the remaining 96 days where he will be required to wear a gps monitoring device. He was also fined $5, 115 and sentenced to 30 hours of community service and court ordered to undergo alcohol abuse classes.

It is still unclear whether or not he will be able to finish his house arrest in New England, with 17 days left of his jail half part of his sentence Floyd who is set to be a unrestricted free agent at the beginning of this upcoming season is trying to stay out of trouble to avoid unwanted attention that could effect his chances of getting signed.
