Boston Bruins Conference Final Preview

Boston Bruins To Take Down the Canes In 5

Boston Bruins are preparing to take on the Carolina Hurricanes in the Conference Finals. Carolina is coming off a sweep of the New York Islanders. The Hurricanes have not been to the playoffs in a while and Boston will look to capitalize on a young team. Boston to take series in 5 games.

Boston has been hot for the last three games of the playoffs. The first line has finally come around, especially David Pastrnak. Pasta has 11 points in the playoffs with 5 of those coming in the last 5 games. In addition, Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron are starting to break through as well. Even with those guys, one has shined through.

David Krejci once again has shined this playoff. He is currently third in points for the Bruins with 10, behind Marchand and Pastrnak. Krejci is just one of those guys who shows up in the playoffs. He has been the most consistent of all and is the drive behind that second line. Boston will lean on the first line and Krejci in the series with the Canes.

The top two lines are not the only one putting in the work. The B’s fourth line has been unbelievable when Chris Wagner is slotted on the wing. He just brings that extra grit. This grit will be helpful against a quick team like Carolina.

Sebastian Aho is public enemy number one. Aho has 9 points in 11 games. Another guy for the B’s to watch out for is rookie Warren Foegele. These two will hopefully be shut down by Zdeno Chara and Charlie Mcavoy (suspended game 1).

Boston To Use Playoff Experience to Advantage

Carolina in a young team and many players have not experienced playoff hockey and those that have, only have in a limited dose. The Black and Gold will use their playoff experience to their advantage and will use it to manage the series.

Again this will be put on the shoulders of Bergeron, Marchand, and Krejci to carry the team to a series victory.

Boston will face off against the canes tonight at the TD Garden.
