P-Bruins Going To Game Seven
Providence Bruins defeated the Hershey Bears 4-2 to force a game seven. Game seven will be held tonight at 7 in Hershey.
The Hershey Bears started the games scoring with a goal just a few minutes into the game. Another few minutes later the Bears scores again to make it 2-0. Then came the second period started and the Bruins cam out on fire. Providence’s first goal came from Danton Heinen. Colton Hargrove followed up with the game tying goal. Chris Porter helped the B’s take the lead with only 22 seconds left in the second. This marked the Bruins third unanswered goal of the period.
Austin Czarnik was able to extend the lead to 4-2 in the third period. Then late in the third the Bears pulled their goalie and the B’s were able to hold off the late push from Hershey to force a game seven.
This win marked the Bruins 100th postseason win in franchise history.
With the Expansion draft coming up look for the Bruins to let some guys go. This would allow them to bring up guys like Czarnik and Heinen and DeBrusk. I would like to see what these kids can do in the NHL.
