Connelly’s Top Ten - Don’t Taken Division Titles for Granted

1. STARTERS

* Another Division title - see below #9 on how lucky we are

* Edelman the warrior goes up there with Grogan, Cowens, Bird, Greg Campbell

* If Patriots lose this game - it all falls on Sanu - end of half drive - his route is short of the stakes on 3rd down / on 4th down his heart isn’t into blocking and whiffs on the Harry fly sweep

* Edelman running out of the locker room after concussion protocol was like Larry coming out against Pacers

2. BRADY

* Appreciate every game

* The block and smile should be in his Hall of Fame video

* Another 4th quarter comeback for Brady

* Ties Manning (must have killed him to have Brees beat Manning first)

* Got away with an intentional grounding to right side

* In the 4th quarter - Brady was driving for the division title with Sanu, Harry, LaCosse, Meyers

* Last regular season game next week?

3. OFFENSE

* Is Dorset still on the team?

* Michel still picking wrong holes but at least broke some tackles

* Burkhead an excusable fumble - ran hard though

* I told you end arounds work - Harry 4 runs for 40 yards this year

 * Meyers a couple nice hand catches

* Penalty for Pic by Watson was inexcusable for a veteran

4. DEFENSE

* Lawrence Guy best player on defense

* Jamie Collins / Van Noy have been average players second half

* Chung chasing behind a lot

* When Hightower blitzes its usually a big play

5. BILL GARB / KRAFT SIGHTING

* Bill goes with parka and winter hat

* Bob Kraft feature before kick off on charitable efforts

6. BILLS

* Cheap shot by 93 Murphy to knock Cannon out of the game

* Beasley 108 yards

* Brown TD was a win over Gilmore

* Should have thrown challenge flag on 4th down placement of Michel run

* Bad Tackling by Bills

7. REFS

* Not loving the call on the Edelman pick - game changing call

* Pretty much stayed out of the game

8. BROADCAST

* Tirico / Warner paring was vanilla but fine

* You know Warner thinks Patriots cheated in 2002

9. STATS

* AFC East Titles by decade: 70’s - 1 / 80’s - 1 / 90’s - 2 / 00’s - 7 / 10’s - 10

* Burkhead last two games - 156 total yards / 2 TD

* Michel last two games 185 yards on 40 carries / 4.7 a carry

* Tight end TD’s last year - 3 / this year 2

* Time of possession 39 minutes Patriots / 21 Bills

* 7 for 14 on third down is better

* Ben Watson has more career receptions than Gronk - 545 / 521

10. OTHER STUFF

* Matter of time before Harry picks up a 15 yarder for yapping

* McDaniel pumped fist and and stared over at Bills bench

* Can’t believe I’m saying this but feeling more comfortable with Folk than Gostkowski

* Bethel would have blocked punt if Bill’s punter was righty

* All those Chief fans got their hopes up for a bye

* White guy can’t be a wide receiver in voter’s minds? Edelman 97 receptions / 1,092 yards doesn’t get pro bowl nod over criminal Tyreek Hill 49 receptions / 727 yards (Edelman is involved in blocking as well)
